EnExpert Carbon Management

Carbon accounting and ESG reporting per the GHG Protocol (Scope 1–3)

EnExpert Carbon Management app – login with the claim “Environmental responsibility through Carbon Management”

What it is

EnExpert Carbon Management is a web app for carbon accounting per the GHG Protocol. Emissions are captured per site and product across Scope 1, 2 and 3, calculated with built-in emission factors and turned into dashboards, reduction pathways and reports.

Who it's for

Companies with reporting obligations or sustainability targets – sustainability and ESG leads, environmental and quality management – who need to measure, reduce and report their carbon footprint to recognized standards.

Why this is relevant

What matters is the domain model: emission factors by region and year, clean Scope 1/2/3 logic, a calculation engine and reduction pathways to a target year. Technically demanding software that shows we can translate complex rule sets into a usable interface.

Features

  • Accounting per the GHG Protocol: emissions are captured in a structured way across Scope 1 (direct), Scope 2 (energy) and Scope 3 (up- and downstream).
  • Capture per site and product: company, sites (facilities) and products can be modeled and analyzed separately.
  • Built-in emission factors: calculations use factors by energy source, region and year – not manual estimates.
  • Reduction pathways: baseline emissions, measures and target year come together in a traceable path (e.g. −50% by 2030).
  • Dashboards and reports: emissions by scope, trends and measures are visualized and exported as reports.
  • ESG foundation: the inventory serves as a solid basis for ESG and sustainability reports.

Workflow and architecture

Carbon accounting is above all a data and rule-set problem. EnExpert Carbon Management maps it in clear steps:

  1. Set up master data: company, sites and products are captured in a structured way.
  2. Enter activity data: consumption and activities (e.g. fuels, electricity, mobility) are captured per scope.
  3. Calculate emissions: built-in emission factors by region and year turn activity data into CO₂ values.
  4. Reduce and report: measures, reduction pathways and reports turn the inventory into a basis for decisions.

The key point: the system takes a demanding rule set (the GHG Protocol) and makes it usable without spreadsheet chaos – with traceable factors and verifiable results.

Availability

  • Live: co2.en-expert.com
  • Product status: productive web app for carbon accounting and reduction planning.
  • Standard: accounting per the GHG Protocol across Scope 1, 2 and 3.
  • Technical basis: web interface, structured data model (company, sites, products), an emission-factor database by region/year, a calculation engine, and dashboard and reporting modules.

Why it's relevant

EnExpert Carbon Management shows that we can translate technically complex rule sets into usable software: a clean domain model, traceable calculation logic, and interfaces that domain users can work with without specialist knowledge. This capability – rule set plus data model plus calculation plus reporting – transfers to many regulated or standards-bound processes.

Next step

If you're facing a carbon inventory or an ESG report and fighting spreadsheets today, a tightly scoped start pays off: one site or one product. In an initial call we clarify which activity data exists and what a first solid inventory could look like.
